West of Want (Hearts of the Anemoi, #2) by Laura Kaye

Betrayal is all he’s ever known, but in her, he’ll find a love strong enough to be trusted…When Marcella Raines’ twin brother dies, she honors his request to be buried at sea, never expecting the violent storm that swamps her boat. Recently divorced over her infertility and gravely injured, Ella still fights to survive. Zephyros Martius is the Supreme God of the West Wind and Spring, but being the strongest Anemoi hasn’t saved him from betrayal and loss—worse, he’s sure his brother Eurus is behind it. When Zeph’s heartbreak whips up a storm that shipwrecks a human, his guilt leads him to save her, but he vows not to get involved. Ella’s honesty, empathy, and unique calming influence attract Zeph like no other, and he finds himself wanting…everything. Ella knows Zeph’s different and fears rejection, but falls for his otherworldly masculinity and ancient, sad blue eyes. When Eurus threatens Ella, she and Zeph struggle to let go of the past, defend their future, and embrace what they most want—a love that can be trusted.

. . .

So, if last week’s release list represented a wide range of books, this week’s represents quite a bit of Young Adult material. Those range from urban fantasy to sci-fi to contemporary romance and realistic fiction. Seraphina by Rachel Hartman? Gorgeous cover and a story about dragons…sounds like a winner to me. ^_^ Of course, there are several *very* notable new releases in adult genre fiction. Karen Marie Moning has another book out (set in the Fever series world–wow!), this time heavily illustrated. Laura Kaye’s latest paranormal romance is now available, and the beloved Susan Elizabeth Phillips adds to her Wynette, Texas, series with another contemporary romance. And I’m personally excited about the latest installment in Sierra Dean’s Secret McQueenseries (about a kick-butt werewolf/vampire).

Tell me: What’s caught your eye this week (if not the book itself, then the cover)? If you *don’t* usually read YA, how often do you read such books?

I very rarely read YA. But I am looking forward to the new Catherine Coulter book! I love her FBI-series with a psychic twist.
    That Geek-title is interesting.

There’s a contest to win Seraphina over at Book Smugglers. But don’t anyone enter it. It’s MINE!

Thank you so much for posting the new novels every Tuesady. I look forward to having a concise place to find new books. I usually pre-order my favorites but you have introduced me to some new authors.
I don’t know if you want to include Jayne Krentz’s re-releashed “The Desperate Game” & “Chilling Deception”
Now my TBR pile is getting bigger every week.

Fever Moon and Size 12 and Ready to Rock have definitely caught my eye! For the book, not just the cover, though there are some very pretty ones in there.
As for YA I used to read it HEAPS but haven’t recently (with a few exceptions *cough* The Golden Lily *cough*), but there are some great looking ones that I intend to read. Eventually.

Oh Alisha I’m with you about being excited about the new Secret McQueen book! Yay!! We are so lucky Sierra Dean is such a prolific author! 😀

SIZE 12 and the latest Artemis Fowl are the only books I’m interested this week (yes, I do read children’s/YA books).

    No Paul Marron covers. 🙁
