Randomly Booked: My Book Hero
The book Green Rider by Kristen Britain is a wonderful book full of action and adventures. After finishing this book – which is book one in the series – I realized that I had found a new friend and even a hero. Karigan G’ladheon is the main character and she was given a message by a dying Green Rider – the Kings messenger service – and she has to take it to the king.
Karigan is a character who is brave and will do anything she is promises. She goes through alot of very serious dangers and overcomes them learning from every experience. Karigan is a fighter who learns alot about battles and the kings messenger service on her journey to pass along the message she has for the king.
The song I am choosing for Karigan and her adventures is Dangerous by Cascada.

This first part talks about the way Karigan found out she is to become a Green Rider. Karigan received a brooch from the messenger that gaver her the message that goes to the King. The brooch has magical powers that make the rider have special powers as well as the fact that if the brooch is lost it finds its way back to the castle. So, this part talks about Karigan and her new way of life, including finding out about the brooch.

We’re standing face to face
This last verse talks about the evil man who is trying to kill the king. He is lying to everyone and they believe him but Karigan knows there is something fishy here and doesn’t trust him.

This song basically shows how Karigan loves her father, her job with her father, being adventurous, and about the man she falls in love with. He is handsome and comes from a very noble and important family. Their fondness of each other has to be hidden because his family won’t let him get married to someone that isn’t of the same noble birth.
I would love to hear what character is your hero and why. I love to find heros in books that I read. 😀

I have heard people talking about the Green Rider series. Everyone really loves this book and series. I have never read it or really even looked into it, I don't know why. But this really truly sounds like a book and series I would really, really like. I love the song pick too. I am going to have to get this book some time. Thanks!
