This week’s tour takes us to Sweden. I decided upon this destination for a few reasons: I have a contest running over at my own blog for a copy of Stieg Larsson’s The Girl Who Played With Fire (click here to enter….after reading this post 🙂 I’m also a big fan of Eric (played by Alexander Skarsgard, a native of Sweden) in the HBO series True Blood, which had its season premiere last night. Let’s just say it left quite the impression, to say the least…
I’ve realized that in previous posts, I had neglected to include a map, so I’ve corrected that issue here.
The closest I’ve ever come to this part of the world was a stop over in Amsterdam, which sadly was spent sitting in the airport. These pictures show an old world charm, beautiful tulips and the obligatory windmill from this part of the world. I think it’s definitely an area I would like to explore further one of these days. What about you?

I guess the Sweden I know, looks to me just like it does over here, and therefore sadly pretty boring. But so much more interesting in those pics

Sweden is very nice and picturesque but I've got to be honest:Alex.Skarsgard aside,I didn't like living there at all!Besides, men did NOT look like Skarsgard at all,at least where I lived 🙂
Caroline – Do you get True Blood there? Holy smokes, last night's epi blew me away (for a few minutes at least). I'm going to go watch it again right now….(if you don't, well, picture Alex Skarsgard naked 😉

AtenRa – I think maybe we'd all have to move to Hollywood to find the likes of A.S. on every street corner. Just imagine…
Such crystal clear and vivid pictures. I was amazed with the tulips then the lights at night over the water. Just beautiful! I would love to visit these sights. I would have to leave the kid at home though, as I don't think he would appreciate the view as much as I would. 🙂 Thanks for the great pics!
