I’ve been reading all sorts of speculative fiction recently which presents issues when it comes to actual places we could virtually visit for this week (it’s hard to find real pics of post-apocalyptic Earth, right?). I hit up my best friend, Mel at He Followed Me Home for an idea. She gave me inspiration in the form of Stolen(A letter to my captor) by Lucy Christopher. I’ve included the book trailer here for more info (since I personally haven’t read the book) and then our tour begins. It looks like another stunning place I have yet to visit. Enjoy!
To me, it looks like hiking boots, a flashlight and lots of water would be the beginnings of what to pack for this adventure, to say the least. And, of course, don’t forget the camera. It’s one vacation you wouldn’t want to forget 🙂

Wow looking at these pictures one understands the expression "No Man's Land", so vast and unpopulated areas, amazing. Beautiful photos and landscapes, thank you!

Australia is one place I would love to visit. My dad always wanted to go to visit his sister, although we never made it. We still have time, but I think it is all a dream. But it is an amazing place. 🙂 Even these pictures remind me of the west her in the States. Beautiful. 🙂 Great exploring again.
Thanks everyone for the awesome comments! I've seen travel pics of New Zealand but the Outback is a whole different experience, I think. I never really wanted to visit this area but I have totally changed my mind 🙂

Australis seems like a good place to go for an adventure tour. Also I really didnt what Stolen was about until I watched the trailer you posted.
Beautiful pictures. I didn't know much about the Outback.
