This week it has been pretty quiet, but there has been quite a few long awaited book covers being released with blurbs and excerpts for the next year or so. So we will start with that this week. =)

First up – Shannon Delany has announced and posted the title of her followup to 13 to Life. Secrets and Shadows will be out February 15th 2011.  You can also check out the excerpt here which will help to cope with that cliffhanger from the first book!


Karen Mahoney who has written short stories in The Eternal Kiss and Kiss Me Deadly anthologies has posted the cover for her upcoming full novel The Iron Witch here, which looks absolutely gorgeous.

While the final book in the Weather Warden series, Total Eclipse was released this month *sob*, Rachel Caine has posted the cover for the 3rd book Unseen from the Outcast spinoff series. I love how each book gets better and better.

Dear Author has posted a detailed update about the new changes that Dorchester will implement when they move straight to E-publishing next month.

Indigo Books and Music Inc which has heavily invested in Kobo has reported wider than expected losses although sales of the Kobo ereader has increased but their chief executive has stated that “The increased loss is not unexpected as we continue to invest significantly in the growth and development of Kobo. We expect this investment to pay off materially in the mid to longer term,”

And finally

Ever someone uncovered fashion advice from Vogue’s book of etiquette from 1924 – it’s pretty cute and funny I especially love the advice table for men about what not to wear 😀
