@VivianArend: oh, tough! Only 1? Furry heat on cold days. 😉 Have to be unconditional love-knowing its forever. Makes rough times easier.
Book Blurb:
Robyn Maxwell doesn’t care that her brother has to cancel out on their backcountry ski trip. She can do it alone. The fact she’s deaf doesn’t make her survival skills any weaker. The chance to get away from it all and relax in the Yukon wilderness is just what she’s been craving.
Meeting wilderness guide Keil at the cabin starts cravings of another kind. Keil’s one hot hunk of ripped, tasty male. Now she has to deal with raging hormones as well as strange questions about wolves and mates and challenges to the death.
Keil was trying for a nice reflective retreat before challenging for the Alpha position of his Alaskan pack. He wasn’t planning on meeting the woman destined to be his mate, or finding out she’s not aware she has the genes of a wolf.
Between dealing with his accident-prone younger brother, a deaf mate with an attitude and an impending duel to the death, his week—and his bed—is suddenly full.
Far from the relaxing getaway any of them had in mind…
Vivian Arend has hiked, biked, skied and paddled her way around most of North America and parts of Europe. Throughout all the wandering in the wilderness, stories have been planted and they are bursting out in vivid colour. Paranormal, twisted fairytales, red-hot contemporaries—the genres are all over.
Between times of living with no running water, she home schools her teenaged children and tries to keep up with her husband—the instigator of most of the wilderness adventures.
In the Granite Lake Wolves series:
This line make want to read the book: Keil’s one hot hunk of ripped, tasty male.

I hadn't known of this series. It looks good. Nothing like a yummy alpha male to make ones day ;).

Having someone who can howl louder than the dog?
Or
Having someone who is nocturnal and can do the midnight diaper changes.
Best thing about a werewolf mate is the retention of their primal urges? LOL I don't mean the lusty ones only, but also protectiveness to their females and their young and the fact that they tend to be loyal. Infidelity begone!

I'm very romantic at heart so I'm taken with the entire concept of monogamy. Wolves mate for life. They're better at "'til death do we part" than humans. I admire the depth of feeling and the loyalty in wolf love.

What about you? What do you think is the most valuable advantage of having a werewolf mate?
Always will be safe and protected. Belong to a community, and have amazing sex…or so I am lead to believe…what other reason should there be?

I'd say the best things about having a werewolf mate are the close-knitted community (it feels safe, somehow), the good looks of the mate and, yes, well, maybe the sex. 😉
Definitely the loyalty and the protection. Not to mention the sexiness that comes with it.
