Imagine living forever, what would you do with your eternal life? How many place would you be able to visit? Not only that, but you would be able to see the world evolve. It would definitely be something to live through the centuries and be a first-hand witness to all the advances in modern technology, wouldn’t it?
Age ain’t nothing but a number.. Only when you’re a vampire.. Spot lines, wrinkles, sagging body parts, thats something you’ll never see.
To be able to out-run a car without getting winded, not even a little bit..
Lifting a six hundred pound boulder, no problem. You’d lift it with ease.
And last but not least, your powers. Imagine waking up, and with one stare down, getting humans to do whatever you wanted them too. Or reading someone’s mind too! What would it be like to exactly what people were thinking?
As a vampire, drinking blood, and only coming out at night are only two of the downsides… Getting inside someone’s home, just bat your eyelashes and BING. BANG. BOOM. You’re in.
This post would last forever if I went on with more of why vampires are better. So, I’m leaving it up to you. Why do you think vampires are better? For me, it’s because your opportunities are limitless..

See, Lauren has left me a tough job. It’s true there’s tons of reasons why you should enjoy Vampires, but I can show you how Shifters are so much better than the icy cold Vamps.
The kewl thing about shifters is they are the best of both worlds: human and animal.
They have a strength that’s second to none. And not just physical. His body is hewn to perfection, natural muscles that others only dream of. And a wildness that says he’ll take what he wants, and damn the rest. One look at him will send chills up your spine. He looks through you as if he can read your every thought, and he searches for one thing:
Strength.
Are you strong enough to step into his arms? Are you the one who can survive at all odds? For only the strongest females can stand next to the true alpha male, sharing his world.
Family.
The best of both worlds, the shifter is totally focused on the survival of his family, be it the grandparent or the child. He is willing to die so you and yours can live. What more can you ask for? Family is the epitome of his life. He’s not above wrapping a child into his arms and comforting him or her. Just like he’s not above cuddling with his chosen mate, soothing her heart with the beat of his own.
And last, Cause he’s hot of course. Unlike the average vamp, he doesn’t have that stone hard, icy cold skin. He’s hot. Sizzling hot. Both in bed, and standing next to you. Imagine those bright eyes, staring into your own. They slowly darken with desire and before you know it, you’re stepping into his arms, ready to take on the world on his behalf.
So who’s the best, Vamps or shifters? Hands down it’s the hot, strong, sexy shifter.

Shifters of course. If for no other reason than they are warm-blooded. Shifters could keep you warm at night, unless of course they try to kill you. LOL

I love vampires. Nowadays they are painted as a very passionate creatures with fangs. They are very protective with the women (if we speak about men) they love, and always do anything to protect them. I love it, I would die in my happiness if somebody loved me so much xD And there is the immortality as well. I don't know if I would like to live forever, but being with a super powerful lover for the eternity is really temting, I think =) So I love vampires =)

I've been digging books with faeries lately. Not the cute, little, winged guys, but beautiful, deceptive, scary faeries. I think I like them because they can do glamour, so nothing is ever what it seems.

It's shifters all the way baby. They are alpha yet like a real man should be with a softer side as well. I am sorry to say that there are so many vamps that are all the same very little new nuances to them.
Yet there are a great deal of shifter stories out there that have new exciting nuances to them. Each author developing their own pattern as opposed to copying a basic pattern for vampires, night peeps, blood drinkers, and immortal.

Shifter stories are my absolute favorite paranormal reads. Something about the animal characteristic blended with human wants and needs is just fascinating, and most times wildly imaginative.
Plus shifter stories give us so many great bad ass heroes and heroines, always an extra treat.

I agree with you ladies, of course – shifters have that special magnetic combination which enables them to be human and yet so alpha they make your knees weak. I tell ppl I'm one of the few authors actually married to an alpha male, so its' fun incorporating some of his traits into my heroes. LOL. And oh yeah, the photos are HOT!!!
And for you vamp lovers, I know your weakness is that all tender and so vulnerable throat. LOL Those shifters like to feel the hot beat of a pulse just as well. Their fangs are just as sharp. and their bodies are oh so hot. Hmmmmm. LOL
It has to be shifters for me. They have such strong pack and family ties. They are in tune with their animal sides with the instinct to mate, protect and provide. They growl, purr or howl when in pleasure. They tend to mate for life and are unable to cheat. They seem more fun loving and carefree than other paranormal creatures and are more intune with nature.
Shape shifters take my heart all the way. Family First. The love bond between mates is greater than any love out there.
Shifters over vamps any day of the week.
I have this thing against sleeping with dead people. Now a nice, hot guy who can keep me warm at night with a fur coat….that's the guy for me.
I am a lover of them all, but if I had to choose just one then it would be vampires. Vampires were the first supernatural beings that I read about and I love them. I think it is interesting seeing every authors different take on them.

This is an easy question. Vamps are okay, but for me, it's shifters all the way. I think it's that they are usually pack oriented and tend to have strong relationships with others, whereas vamps tend to be more solitary. Also, I'm always cold, so I want my very own shifter to snuggle up to.

It used to be vampires, which I think is because I used to read the LITTLE VAMPIRE books when I was much younger.
Now I prefer shifters, although I don't think there are any books about 9 year old shifters out there, which is a shame.
That gives the vamps a headstart.

at first I think vampire would be cool. You can live forever as long as the slayer does not stab something on your chess.
So I would choose shifters. I can become anything. I dont have to worry about how to get any blood to drink or anything
