Cameron Jacobs is an open book. He considers himself a common waiter with normal friends, boring hobbies, harmless dogs, and nothing even resembling a secret… except a crush on a tall, dark, devastatingly handsome man who dines alone at his restaurant on Tuesday nights. All it takes is one passionate night with Julian Cross to turn Cameron’s world on its head.
Julian’s love and devotion are all Cameron could have hoped for and more. But when his ordinary life meets and clashes with Julian’s extraordinary lifestyle, Cameron discovers that trust and fear can go hand in hand, and love is just a step away from danger.
I don’t know but there is just something about these man that makes me all giddy inside. *grin* Not to mention how great reviews I have seen about this book. Makes me want to read this one even more.

New York City Vice Detective Evan Cerelli has lost his wife, the only person he ever loved and slept with. He’s trying to get on with his life, build a life for his children. Former Homicide Detective Matt Haight is a ladies’ man, all sex/no commitment. He’s depressed, having a midlife crisis, and not sure where his life is headed.
The two find friendship in the bottom of a shared bottle. When the friendship turns to love, it shakes two straight men to the core and flips their lives inside out. Kids, families, careers that are not gay-friendly — can all the love in the world overcome the obstacles to faith and fidelity?
And I am also checking out the next two books in this series:
Love & Loyalty (Faith, Love & Devotion Bk #2)
Detective James “Jim” Shea is a Seattle homicide detective who has never taken his work home with him – until now. A case has gotten under his skin and though it’s “over,” it isn’t for Jim. The emotional toll has left him vulnerable and tied to the victim’s dying father.
Meanwhile, Hollywood comes calling for a hot story, and screenwriter Griffin Drake sees the tragic case as his ticket to more serious fare than his usual action blockbusters. But to get the whole story he needs to win over the stoic and protective Detective Shea.
Neither man has had much luck when it comes to romance or long-term relationships and neither is particularly looking but there’s an attraction from their first meeting that can’t be denied. Their impromptu first date seems to have no end in sight – quickly becomes a barreling freight train of romance.
Looming problems outside threaten their relationship – death, secrets and broken trust – and they’ll have to learn loyalty to save their newfound love.
Duty & Devotion (Faith, Love & Devotion Bk #3)
After their happily ever after in Faith & Fidelity, Matt and Evan move forward to a new chapter of their lives – inside the bedroom and out – with some surprises in store for both. Evan struggles with labels and feelings even as he wants to give in to his baser desires. Matt , now the ideal househusband of Queens, New York, has his own set of struggles – who is he now? What does he need and want?
A visit from his friend and one-night stand Jim Shea (of Love & Loyalty) throws everything into disarray as Evan’s jealousy and unease push Matt’s buttons – and not always in a good way.
These three are definitely on the top of my wish list. *cheeky grin*
The Assignment by Evangeline Anderson
Detective Nicholas Valenti, tall, dark and stoic, has been best friends with his partner, Sean O’Brian for six years. The two men have seen each other through divorce, disaster, and danger, and saved each other’s asses more times than Valenti can count. Exactly when he started seeing his blond, intense partner in another light, Valenti isn’t really sure. He only knows that he wants O’Brian in a way that had nothing to do with friendship and everything to do with possession. It is a desire he will have to hide forever because O’Brian is undeniably straight.
Just as Valenti is coming to grips with his new, unacceptable feelings for his partner their police captain puts them on a new case that could blow Valenti’s cover once and for all. He and O’Brian are going undercover at the country’s largest and most infamous gay resort to bust a notorious drug lord and stop the shipments of poison cocaine that are flooding the gay bars all over the city.
Now Valenti will have to make a choice between friendship and desire. He and O’Brian will play the roles of gay men that will push the limits of their relationship to the breaking point. Will their time at the RamJack forge a new bond between them or destroy their partnership forever?
I’ll Be Hot for Christmas, a Loose Id Stocking Stuffer featuring Valenti and O’Brian, heroes from The Assignment
It’s a year after their assignment at the RamJack where they first confessed their feelings for each other. Valenti and O’Brian have been sharing an exclusive and white-hot relationship when Valenti suddenly pulls away. Understandably upset, O’Brian is determined to find out why his partner/lover is giving him the cold shoulder on Christmas, even if it means handcuffing Valenti to the bed to get the truth out of him!
I am beginning to become an addict when it comes to tormented m/m love stories. And this one looks like its right up my alley.
I read nothing but m/m books at this point. 🙂 I never really related to the heroines in m/f (nor the heroes, actually), but when I read those first few m/m romances – it totally worked for me and I was hooked.
A couple of my favorites are the Nicky & Brandon series by James Buchanan, which starts with Cheating Chance and Marie Sexton's Coda, Colorado series.
I read my first m/m romance this past Christmas. It was a free read from one of the ebook stores. It was so loving and wonderful that I bought 6 more ebooks from the same author. I haven't read enough m/m stories to say that I have a favorite yet.
I love your m/m suggestions. I will have to check them out!

I love m/m books! My favorite is the Adrien English series by Josh Lanyon.

I really need to check out one of these books. My 15 year old daughter is a big yaoi (sp? M/M manga) fan and she even writes her own m/m stories. I like some of the yaoi manga too so I think I would enjoy the books you mentioned! Now which one?
I don't think I have read any M/M stories yet (yaoi manga doesn't count), but I have read M/M/F stories. I think what keeps me from reading M/M books is that many of them are ebooks and I don't have an ereader (and I also don't like reading ebooks on my old laptop).
One of these days when my TBR pile is more manageable (and my TBR list of ebooks is too), I may look into more M/M books.

I am reading The Assignment. Wow, there is a vulnerabity with m/m characters you just don't get with regular romances. Pulls at the heart strings. I would love more suggestions for m/m for my kindle. I don't like strictly erotica of any kind. I like the romance 😉
I've become a total m/m fan over the past year or two. I still read m/f but I have a special place in my heart for m/m.
I think you will love the Tere Michaels books. I thought the first one was the strongest but they are all really good.
I haven't read the other books you've mentioned but I'm going to have to check them out – I've read those authors before and enjoyed their work.
I'd second Chris's suggestions of James Buchanan and Marie Sexton's work and I'd add KA Mitchell to the list – Collision Course, No Souvenirs and Regularly Scheduled Life are all the bomb.
Oh my goodness, I absolutely must pick up and read Warrior's Cross. An m/m that's also a thrilling spy-like adventure? Sign me up, baby! ^__^
you people have ruined me!!!! . I am reading Faith & Fidelity right now and I bought Warrior's Cross. Sigh.
I have read books that featured m/m romance but never specifically a m/m book.
I think it's because most m/m books are ebooks(at least the ones i've seen are) and I've only had my kindle a month, so I'm still getting used to it.
Having read the blurbs on these books I think I will be reading a m/m book soon.
Thanks for the recs! I'm always on the lookout for good M/M books 🙂 I've read "The Assignment" and highly recommend it.
