Eleven Scandals to Start to Win a Duke’s Heart by Sarah MacLean
She lives for passion.Bold, impulsive, and a magnet for trouble, Juliana Fiori is no simpering English miss. She refuses to play by society’s rules: she speaks her mind, cares nothing for the approval of the ton, and can throw a punch with remarkable accuracy. Her scandalous nature makes her a favorite subject of London’s most practiced gossips . . . and precisely the kind of woman The Duke of Leighton wants far far away from him.He swears by reputation.Scandal is the last thing Simon Pearson has room for in his well-ordered world. The Duke of Disdain is too focused on keepinghis title untainted and his secrets unknown. But when he discovers Juliana hiding in his carriage late one evening—risking everything he holds dear—he swears to teach the reckless beauty a lesson in propriety. She has other plans, however; she wants two weeks to prove that even an unflappable duke is not above passion.
I can't wait to read the new Rachel Gibson and I've heard that Eleven Scandals is fab!
Another great week of book releases. I'm espically looking forward to reading Bumped.
I'm currently reading Big Bad Beast and Shelly Laurenston just rocks! A total LOL winner.
What a week! Looking forward to Juliana's story in "Eleven Scandals…" Also want "Cloudy…" as well.
Great list! Dark Descendant is on my want list. 🙂 And there are a few other great sounding ones here that are new for me. 🙂 I'm going to have to look into these. Thank you!
Bah, these weeks between the release of Deadline and Heartless are just marking time.
There are lots of good ones for me on this list. I've been waiting a long time for Eleven Scandals and Tangled Threads. I want to read the new ones by Gibson and Kramer, also. Thanks for the update.
@Scorpio – I'm anxiously awaiting my copy of Eleven Scandals to arrive in the mail! I love Sarah MacLean
@Jenny – I've heard Bumped has some humour in it, which seems odd for a dystopian book. I'm hoping to check it out soon too.
@CK – I haven't read either author. Hope you enjoy 🙂
@Sheree – Hope you get them soon! They both sound cute…
@Melissa – Were you looking at this list through your fingers? LOL
@dracon – Nothing piqued your interest here? Lol.
@LSU – I hear ya. I'm going to have to check out Kramer myself, I think.
Eleven Scandals! I've been awaiting it for so long. Not sure whether to get a hard copy for the book shelf or ebook for ease of reading. A wonderfully high-class problem to have. ^_^
@Alisha – That is a problem! IMHO, the hard copy usually has a nice inner pic for added viewing pleasure. Sadly, I've borrowed the first two from the library. Will have to purchase my own copies for easy, uh…reference 😉
