So we 2 discovered something last week and yes yes we know that we really live under a rock and all. Did you know that certain audiobooks had different covers from the print books? WE didn’t! When Caro told me we could talk about that in our cover post I was like ‘yeah very different cover. We can talk about the different Unabridged fonts’.
But I’m now aware of the fact that she was right. And yes you are allowed to write that in your calendar.
Okay so here is what we found rather interesting:
Audiobook Covers – Jeaniene Frost edition
Caroline: I think the cover of One Foot in the Grave is pretty amazing. (you should look at it in big). The cover model looks kick-ass, and she’s …
We are very happ to welcome not only author Christina Henry here today, she also brought Madeline “Maddy” Black and Beezle the Gargoyle along. All three are here to celebrate the upcoming release of Black Wings (official release day is next Tuesday, that’s November 30th) and to tell us a bit about their lives. Be sure to stay tuned till the end of the post, there might or might not be a giveaway. 😉
BLI: Can you please tell us a bit about yourself?
Christina: Well, I like to run when I’m not writing. It helps me think and also allows me to eat dessert every day. I also love to read whatever I can get my hands on (although I don’t have as much time to read as I used to). And I like to watch Mythbusters on the Discovery …
When my reading addition started, meeting one of the authors I so loved to read was something I never even considered within my realm of possibilities.
Then, when I started book blogging, I was well aware how hard and almost impossible it would be to meet my literary idols, but I started to get the craving for it.
Difficulty with meeting authors I love and attending signings and conferences is just one of the obstacles we face as international book bloggers. However, September this year I got the chance to go to a Book Conference in The U.S. (I talked about it HERE) and since my 10-day trip turned into a 3-month one, I had the chance to go to The New York Comic Con in NYC and meet some of my favorite authors ever!
It was so much …

Finally in, I should say because WOW that was a lot of votes to count!!! As you can see from the picture at left, the counting volunteers were so exhausted they kept falling asleep right on top of their laptops! A round of applause goes out to our wonderful Book Lovers Inc readers for ‘Rocking the Vote!’ The response to my seemingly innocent little poll was mind-blowing. Rest assured your voices have been heard. The votes were counted and re-counted, I live in Florida and as anyone in our US readership will tell you that’s how we do it down here. =) *ahem* Not only have your votes been tallied but after reading everyone’s comments debating whether or not the Study Trilogy is really a YA series or not, I’ve done some further …

Today we are very happy to welcome author, Denise Robbins to Book Lovers Inc! Denise’s new book Never Tempt Danger was released last month and we’re stop #3 on her blog tour. Okay, BLI readers let’s give big round of applause for Denise Robbins!!!
The Obsessed Lover: What books did you read as a child?
Denise: Of course I read books like Sammy the Seal and Danny the Dinosaur. By the way, those are still my two of my favorite children’s books. In early elementary school I remember reading Misty of Chincoteague. At the time …
Hey Everyone! Ok, so today I wanted to talk about something that us bloggers have to deal with, the memes. What is a meme? A meme is usually a post that be edited or just a theme that spreads around the blogosphere.
Us, book bloggers, have a lot of specific memes going around, like: In My Mailbox, Teaser Tuesday, Book Blogger Hop and so on… I myself have come up with a couple memes, some more successful than others.
Why do we meme? Well, I can only speak for myself and I believe that if I am being honest, one of the reasons I created a meme was so it would hopefully spread around, become popular and I’d have more traffic and followers on my blog. That was not the main reason, but it did cross my mind. The main reason was that there was some …

Ok, so here’s the thing, I love a good book series and if the series has captured my heart I will be a fan for life and buy each and every book out.
The thing is that some authors like to put out a prequel to the series sometimes, midway through it, or even earlier and I for one don’t really care for it. If I love the books, I’ll probably read it when or if I feel like it, but I’ll probably not wait for it in pins and needles.
Finding out about a character’s or a set of character’s beginning can be interesting at times, but if I have already seen said characters find their happily ever after, what do I care about reading a book with them alone again?
I won’t generalize and say I don’t like …
