Good afternoon!
I hope you are all having a lovely day. Mine was absolutely terrible because we’re in the middle of a wet spot in Sydney and I haven’t been completely dry since Friday. But enough about that 😀 because today I wanted to give you an update on the state of my shelves.
Why? You may ask. Has something drastic changed that has merited this update?
Why yes, dear readers, it has. You see I moved last November and have nearly finished settling in to my new home (with my new hubby :D). My bookshelves have grown since you last saw them, my TBR pile is now at 90 (far out how did it get that high) and I still have absolutely no room. I honestly thought I’d have room to spare after stacking my shelves, but alas it filled up a lot quicker than I anticipated…as per usual
Unfortunately I don’t have …
By now you all know that I am a big fan of wedding romances and you might have even seen me praise and rave about Kissing the Maid of Honor by Robin Bielman, the first in her brand new Secret Wishes series, which was a delight! So today we are happy to welcome to BLI Robin Bielman, who has brought us not just a fun game but a terrific giveaway as well, so take a seat and let the fun begin! 😀
Hi everyone! I’m so happy to be back on Book Lovers Inc. today! Thanks to all the BLI gals for having me, and an extra big hug to Stella!
So, I thought I’d do something a little different today to celebrate the first book in my Secret Wishes series, KISSING THE MAID OF HONOR. I had …

First up this week started off with the news that one of the books written by author Lorelei James was plagiarized by fanfic writer called Alison Gilmore. Although she has changed her name online and pretended it is another who shares the same name who was the culprit. Hi Everyone!
I have already told you about some of my favourite tropes, like the friends to lovers or enemies to lovers ones, but I would be remiss if I didn’t mention another one of my all-time top favourite tropes: the arranged marriage/marriage of convenience/faked engagement one. Yep. It may sound like a mouthful, but they are SO delicious 😉
Arranged marriage tropes are usually found in historical romances. I was introduced to them through some Pride and Prejudice fanfiction where Lizzie had married Mr. Darcy while still hostile towards him, but usually he was unaware of her feelings and when he realized that his wife hated him after he got over his heartbreak they tried to make their marriage work by getting to know and respect each other. And the more similar stories I read, the more I craved. And …
Title: The Heist
Author: Janet Evanovich
Series: O’Hare and Fox, #1
Genre: mystery

And while Kate has made quite a name for herself for the past five years, the only name she’s cared about is Nicolas Fox—an international crook she wants in more ways than one.
Audacious, handsome, and dangerously charming, Nicolas Fox is a natural con man, notorious for running elaborate scams on very high-profile people. At first he did it for the money. Now he does it for the thrill. He knows that the FBI has been hot on his trail—particularly Kate O’Hare, who has been watching his …

Good afternoon everyone,
As you may have seen my Once Burned review went up this morning, so I thought that with that review going up I’d pose some discussion questions for anyone who has already read/is reading Once Burned and would like to discuss it:
Do you think that Leila’s “innocence” was handled appropriately? It wasn’t really the first time cliche we’re used to in romance.
Are you a classic Dracula fan? Do you like how Frost portrayed the character?
What did you think of the explanation for Leila’s powers? Was it adequate enough for you?
Naturally if you have any discussion questions feel free to post them in the comments for everyone to have a go at answering and lets see if we can get a big discussion going.
Also make sure to vote for next months Book in the poll on the sidebar.
Happy Reading!
