You’ve got to give props to the storyteller who can take you from the chilliest parts of the earth to the biggest summertime festivities…and have it all be sizzling. ^_^ Today, it gives me absolute pleasure to welcome author Natalie Anderson back to BLI. During the her last visit, we got a chance to talk about her release Melt, which was all about a steamy romance that took place in the icy plains of Antarctica. This time, Natalie tells us about her fictional foray into the Summer Olympic Games that took place most recently in London…for which she had not just one, or two, but three winning tales to tell. (Stay tuned after the interview for a chance to win the bronze, the silver, AND the gold–stories, that is!)

Alisha: Welcome back to BLI, Natalie!
Natalie: Thank you so much–it’s great to be back …
This is Part Two of Victoria Vane’s gracious and very extensive interview with us (for part one click HERE). In this section of her interview, Victoria gives our readers an introduction to the players in each of the four parts of The Devil DeVere series, as well as letting us in on some of her favorite scenes. And as an added treat, her characters DeVere and Diana have deigned to answer a few of what they obviously considered rather impertinent questions from this reader. 😉 Also, don’t forget that there is a giveaway waiting for you at the end!
The Author’s introduction to the heroes and heroines of the Devil DeVere series:
The Players by book and appearance:
A Wild Night’s Bride (Book #1)

Today (and tomorrow!) we are incredibly pleased to welcome historical romance author Victoria Vane to Book Lovers Inc. Victoria has, by turns, enthralled, enraged, and enraptured us with her four-part novella series featuring the Devil Ludovic DeVere. In conjunction with the review of the fourth (but it turns out not totally final) story in the series, Victoria sat down and answered a few (lot) of our questions about her writing process and the series. She also let us make a few inquiries of DeVere and Diana, the hero and heroine of this Georgian-era erotic romance. Come back tomorrow for some detailed information on all the books in this luscious series, and some words from those two personages.
But first, let’s hear from their author, Victoria Vane.
Stella: Hi Victoria, can you please tell us a bit about yourself?
Victoria: The basics: I’m 48 years old, a mother …
Today we are happy to welcome to Book Lovers Inc. beloved paranormal romance author Michele Hauf, who stops by to answer all my burning questions regarding, among others, her newest release: Forever Werewolf! So read on to get to know more about Michele and her latest novel and you could even win a copy of Forever Werewolf! 😉
Stella: Hi Michele, can you please tell us a bit about yourself?
Michele: I’ve been writing since the early 90s. I spend a lot of time behind the keyboard but try to get away and exercise when I can. I love to muddle about in my tiny little succulent garden, and dread the oncoming winter because cabin fever sucks. Fortunately my stories do entertain me, so I can pretend I’m walking the streets of a summery Paris, even as the snow blasts my windows just over my shoulder.
Stella: Describe a typical day …
Today I am excited to introduce you to science fiction and fantasy newcomer author Alex Hughes, whose debut novel Clean is a unique blend of urban fantasy, dystopian thriller and sci-fi, a sort of dark and gritty dystopian version of Castle if you will 😉 Alex was kind enough to answer all my questions so give Alex a warm welcome and read on to discover more about this new series and the inspiration behind it! (and you could also win a fantastic prize 😉 )
Stella: Hi Alex, welcome to Book Lovers Inc! Can you please tell us a bit about yourself?

Today we are happy to introduce you to another medical romance author who “branched out” and published her first romantic suspense novel, In His Sights at Carina Press just last week, please give a warm welcome to Tina Beckett, who besides spending her days in the (fictional) company of drop dead gorgeous sexy doctors lives in exotic Brazil and even did some barrel racing! Talk about a glamourous and adventourous life! 😉
Stella: Hi Tina, can you please tell us a bit about yourself?
Tina: Hi, Stella, first of all, I’m thrilled to be here with you! Let’s see, what can I tell you? Well, although I’m an American by birth, I’ve traveled extensively and currently live in Brazil. I’ve done some wild and wonderful things in my life, like taking barrel racing lessons (in Portuguese) and giving birth to a child in a non-English speaking country (let’s just say that pain medication does not make …

I’m a part-time PICU nurse and a full-time writer. I love to read and sleep and am addicted to television. I believe “treat others as you’d like to be treated yourself” is the best way to …

Stella: Hi Amanda, can you please tell us a bit about yourself?
Amanda: Well, I’m married. We have three grown sons, the greatest grandkids in the world, a dog, a wild house sparrow, and a tortoise. I love to read, go to movies and plays, and collect all things Star Wars, Phantom, and Beauty and the Beast. And I love to write, of course, but that’s a given.
Stella: Describe a typical day of writing? Are you a planner or pantser?
Amanda: Definitely the seat of my pants. …
Please join us in welcoming Susan Wiggs to BLI today. Susan is here as part of her blog tour celebrating the release of Return to Willow Lake, the latest book in her Lakeshore Chronicles contemporary romance series. Return is an appropriate title, because this is Susan’s first trip back to the world of the Lakeshore Chronicles in two years. I’m sure that she has a lot of fans who have been itching for a return to this marvelous little town in the Catskills and the people that they have become familiar with (and probably quite fond of) during the course of this series.
BLI: Susan, tell us a bit about yourself- perhaps something no one would expect from you?
Susan: Hmmm. I’m not very mysterious so I don’t know if I can tell you anything unexpected. Maybe it’s unexpected that I’m a newlywed, seeing how I’m older than dirt. And my …
Today, we’re absolutely thrilled to have Gina L. Maxwell as our guest at Book Lovers Inc. She’s here today to discuss her latest book from the new Entangled Brazen imprint, Seducing Cinderella (see our dual review later this week).
Stella: Hi Gina, welcome to Book Lovers Inc! Can you please tell us a bit about yourself?
Gina: Hi, ladies, thanks for inviting me over! I’m a hopeless romantic, a wife and mother with an unhealthy addiction to Keurig coffee and dark chocolate. I’ve also been told my super power is Sonic Perkiness.
Marlene: Describe a typical day of writing? Are you a planner or pantser?
Gina: I’m not a rigid schedule person, though I give it the old college try at the beginning of every week, only to resign myself to the crazy ways I’m most comfortable with. I try to write Mon-Fri in the afternoons as much as possible. Sometimes that happens, …
