Like we decided a few weeks ago we will now choose our favorite covers in a genre for the next few editions of “The Good, the Bad and the Are-You-Kidding-Me?” and tell you why we chose them. It would be awesome if you could tell us which cover in this genre is your favorite and perhaps we will all find some new to us cover candies we can obsess about.
This week we chose Contemporary Erotica covers for our fight … ahem .. discussion. This week we discovered something: we seem to read not nearly enough books in this genre. The only covers we could come up with were the one below and Susi had to work really hard to NOT only choose Megan Hart covers. But we have to say these ladies just write sooooo fantastic books …

Twelfth Grade Kills (The Chronicles of Vladimir Tod #5) by Heather Brewer
Vlad’s running out of time. The Elysian Council has given him weeks to live, and that’s if the Slayer Society doesn’t kill him – along with all the citizens of Bathory – first. Then there’s the issue of Vlad’s father, who may or may not still be alive after all these years, and oh yeah, that tiny little detail in the Pravus prophecy about Vlad enslaving Vampirekind and the human race. So much for college applications.
In this epic finale to Heather Brewer’s heart-stopping Chronicles of Vladimir Tod, dark secrets will be revealed, old friends will become enemies, and warm blood will run cold. Just be careful it isn’t yours.

With radiant, snow white skin and hair, Percy Parker was a beacon for Fate. True love had found her, in the tempestuous form of Professor Alexi Rychman. But her mythic destiny was not complete. Accompanying the ghosts with which she alone could converse, new and terrifying omens loomed. A war was coming, a desperate ploy of a spectral host. Victorian London would be overrun. Yet, Percy kept faith. Within the mighty bastion of Athens Academy, alongside The Guard whose magic shielded mortals from the agents of the Underworld, she counted herself among …

Today, we’re happy to welcome Zoe Archer, author of the Blades of the Rose series on Book Lovers Inc. The first book in the series, the very sexy Warrior was released earlier this week. If you want a little adventure in your romance, then this series is for you! Let’s give a warm welcome to Zoe here!
The HEA Lover: Zoe can you please tell us a bit about yourself?
Zoe: Ever since I learned how to read, I wanted to write. I went through different permutations as I got older, including wanting to become an illustrator a costume designer, and an academic, but writing always had my heart. In fact, I started a PhD program in 18th century literature, but left with an MA in order to get an MFA in Fiction. A friend of mine in …
