Book Blurb:
What fortune awaited sweet, timid Percy Parker at Athens Academy? Hidden in the dark heart of Victorian London, the Romanesque school was dreadfully imposing, a veritable fortress, and little could Percy guess what lay inside. She had never met its powerful and mysterious Professor Alexi Rychman, knew nothing of the growing shadows, of the Ripper and other supernatural terrors against which his coterie stood guard. She saw simply that she was different, haunted, with her snow white hair, pearlescent skin and uncanny gift. This arched …
This week we decided to start something new in this post series. We will now each week choose our favorite covers in a genre and tell you why we chose them. It would be awesome if you could tell us which cover in this genre is your favorite and perhaps we will all find some new to us cover candies we can obsess about.
For the first week we chose Urban Fantasy and here are the covers we adore most at the moment:
Caroline’s Choice:
Caroline: The cover for Bone Crossed is one of my favorite UF ever. When I first saw it I think I stared for 2 hours. It’s gorgeous and Mercy looks amazing. The tattoos are again perfect. Seriously I would marry this …

Dracula in Love by Karen Essex
Genre: Paranormal
Karen Essex turns on the heat in this transporting and darkly haunting new tale of love and possession that puts forth the question: What if everything you knew about Dracula . . . was wrong?

We are really happy to have author Devyn Quinn here today. Siren’s Call, the first book in her Dark Tides Series cam out this week and she is here today to talk about her new series and to celebrate her new release. Please give Devyn a warm welcome.
The Geeky Lover: Devyn, can you please tell us a bit about yourself?
Devyn: I live in the scenic Southwest, though I have called several other states home. I am a huge fan of dark gothic music & shoot-’em-up action movies. But reading is my first love and I spend too much time with history books, as well as feeding my addiction for celebrity biographies. I especially enjoy reading books on Hollywood before the 1960′s and I’m crazy about Marilyn Monroe, her legend and her myth.
The Geeky Lover: Describe a typical day of …
