The Birthday Party Winner Post
Hey Everyone!
Sorry this post is so late but I have a reason: well practically I was too busy having fun to bother (LOL 😉 ), but with full disclosure: it was my best friend’s birthday Friday and we have been celebrating (and partying) all weekend long, so I wasn’t home near my laptop. My best friend turned 29 and she felt it as a death sentence, so I was busy cheering her up, but happy to report: mission accomplished and we had a blast! (and had so much cake!) 😀 So I had a terrific weekend, laughed and ate so much, and now I’m loathe to soon start the week and work :-/ Well before we get to that let me announce our sole winner this week:

The Sick Winner Post
Hey Everyone!

Romance and Me: The Arranged Marriage/Fake Engagement Trope
Hi Everyone!
I have already told you about some of my favourite tropes, like the friends to lovers or enemies to lovers ones, but I would be remiss if I didn’t mention another one of my all-time top favourite tropes: the arranged marriage/marriage of convenience/faked engagement one. Yep. It may sound like a mouthful, but they are SO delicious 😉
Arranged marriage tropes are usually found in historical romances. I was introduced to them through some Pride and Prejudice fanfiction where Lizzie had married Mr. Darcy while still hostile towards him, but usually he was unaware of her feelings and when he realized that his wife hated him after he got over his heartbreak they tried to make their marriage work by getting to know and respect each other.
