Post-vacation Winners!

I’m baaack! 🙂 Arrived home back from my week-long vacation late last night. It was heavenly! *dreamy sighs* Warm sunshine, beautiful beach and plenty of quiet time to read! 😀 But it’s good to be back, I missed the book news buzz, the happenings in the blogosphere and most of all chatting with all of you! (Twitter I’m back!)

I tend to laugh it off and joke about it when someone refers to “those vampire books” that I read. (A side note: why is it always “those vampire books”?! Just goes to show that such people don’t know a first thing about that which they speak.)

Pre-vacation Winners Post!
Hey Everyone!
Today’s winners’ post will be short and to the point as it was my cousin’s wedding yesterday and we went to bed around 5, didn’t sleep well even after that, so I’m too tired and grouchy.

Before I scare you all away I’ll explain that it was scary for me as there are so many winners I have to announce this week, I dreaded sitting down and going through all the giveaways and drwaing the lucky people today. Independence Day Winners!
Hey Everyone!
Another weekend is over, and unfortunately as I live outside the US, I’ll have to work tomorrow *sighs* But at least I have some wonderful news: my little sister has finished her exam period and came home for 2 whole months, I’ll have my lil sis with me, yay! *Stella does happy dance* 😀 So to spoil her I did some yummy desserts: some crispy strudel with banana-cranberry or sour cherry-cottage cheese filling, mmm… 😀

I had a wonderful week. Oh no, do not think work has let up, it was once again crazy busy week from hell at work, but my dad came home for a week. 😀 We had some wonderful quality time, every night family movies (oh yeah, my dad’s favourite movies besides Jean-Claude Van Damme action flicks are Meg Ryan’s Kate&Leopold, and Pride and Prejudice, he’s the biggest fan of Mr. Darcy in the family ;-p lol), and I was spoiled nonstop 😀 My dad is the best!
