Hey Everyone!
I had another, even more hellish week, but with Christmas fast approaching I try to hold out and keep hope that work will be over soon. Today I plan on going to a Christmas fair with my friends to look for presents, drink some spiced mulled wine and soak up the festive feeling a bit 🙂 Then in the evening my sisters will arrive home and the house will be once again packed and loud, can’t wait! 😀
We’ll start decorating the house and as I will have to work next week as well, the task of baking Christmas cookies will fall to my sisters, so that when I come home from work at the end of the day the house will smell like cinnamon, miam 😀
What are your plans for the weekend? Have you already put up the tree and decorations? Are you …

Today you will have the chance to win Bloodthirsty by Flynn Meaney!
Now, if you want something completely different from the traditional vampire book…this is it! Bloodthirsty is: 1: From a guys perspective 2: Doesn’t have real vampires in it and 3: pokes fun at how crazy the world has gotten over vampires in general! I absolutely loved this story, it reads so quickly and you’re left wanting so much more, plus the laughs that come from this book, well, let’s just say I got some funny looks while I was reading this in public. As far as I’m concerned, whether you like vampires or you loathe them…either way you’ll love this!

Welcome to the 17th day of Book Lovers Inc Advent Calendar. Each day, we will offer you one great read in a giveaway on all 24 days till Christmas.
Usually, I like to read books that will be fun and dashing and all things sweet. But I’m also a sucker for a good ‘n creepy dystopian tale, the farthest thing from hearts and stars. And author Sophie Littlefield had knocked me out with her (intense!!!) book Aftertime, which was released by Harlequin Luna in February 2011. The book is set in California after a majorly catastrophic event has wiped out society as we know it, leaving behind disenchanted human survivors and a whole lot of flesh eating zombies (called “Beaters”). That’s right, I said the Z word, which seems to be all over the place these days. But what sets this story apart from many of its type …
Welcome to this week’s news post and it has been a bit quiet in the world of books and publishing but there is news of more YA books being adapted to movies, the Nook may finally arrive across the big pond to the UK.
First up, Barnes and Noble have announced that the Nook will soon be available in the UK, in the near future and will be part of on an ongoing international roll-out for their ereading devices. However, it is not made clear on who they would be joining forces with to distribute the Nook in the UK. WH Smiths already has teamed up with the Kobo and Waterstones will be unveiling their own dedicated device in the next year. But it does look that the ereading market is going to heat up even further.
This might be good news on the VAT front for European Kindle readers. Luxembourg …

Laying hands upon the injured and dying, Avry of Kazan assumes their wounds and diseases into herself. But rather than being honored for her skills, she is hunted. Healers like Avry are accused of spreading the plague that has decimated the Territories, leaving the survivors in a state of chaos.
Stressed and tired from hiding, Avry is abducted by a band of rogues who, shockingly, value her gift above the golden bounty offered for her capture. Their leader, an enigmatic captor-protector with powers of his own, is unequivocal in his demands: Avry must heal a plague-stricken prince—leader of a campaign against her people. As they traverse the daunting …
