Jocelyn: Hi Stella, thanks for having me! Well, I’m a huge animal lover. While writing, I have at least three dogs curled up next to me and one of them is always snoring. My favorite genre to write and read is paranormal romance – erotic or not. Oh and zombies scare the crap out of me. Yikes!

Marlene: The Six-Gun Tarot by R.S. Belcher

Buffy meets Deadwood in a dark, wildly imaginative historical fantasy

Nevada, 1869: Beyond the pitiless 40-Mile Desert lies Golgotha, a cattle town that hides more than its share of unnatural secrets. The sheriff bears the mark of the noose around his neck; some say he is a dead man whose time has not yet come. His half-human deputy is kin to coyotes. The mayor guards a hoard of …

The Wedding Expo Winner Post

Hey Everyone!

I might have mentioned last week that I am attending a wedding planner training on Sundays for 2 months and though I have to get up at the crack of dawn 6:20 am *yawns* the course is really interesting! So to get some work contacts and do some preparatory research for my final thesis today I am attending a wedding expo and hopefully will come home with a lot of cards and new contacts. 😉

Besides that my weekend was productive baking-wise: I did a double treat of orange meringue pie and folded cinnamon cake. Although it turned out beautiful we weren’t blown away by the orange pie as it wasn’t that special sweet and sour, so we’ll stick with lemon and lime pie in the future, but the folded cinnamon cake became an instant hit with the family! So if you want something …

Around The Bookish World: Week-In-Review

Welcome to this week’s news post! This week have some updates and news on Kelley Armstrong (although belatedly), Carina Press’ expansion in the UK and Ireland and more.

First up, Kelley Armstrong’s Bitten which is the first book in her Women of the Otherworld series, has been picked up by the Canadian Space channel for a 13 episode series which will focus on Elena and Clay and the rest of the pack. This was announced earlier in the year but I missed this and this took me by surprised when I stumbled across a mention that the series was being adapted for television. Space also announced that they will commence filming later this Spring, although no news on casting, but it looks like Urban Fantasy is becoming a rich source for television and movies for adapations at the moment.

Scholastic has declared that they will be launching their first Fantasy multi-platform …
