Today we double the pleasure by welcoming another Entangled Publishing author to Book Lovers Inc, Rita Oberlies, whose latest novel Second Chances was released in their Indulgence line in May. We invited Rita to tell us about her novel Second Chances and what is her take on second chance romances, please give her a warm welcome and read on, you could even win a copy of her book!
Years ago I was on a business trip to Colorado that was slated to be a five-day visit. A large storm rolled in just as I was packing my belongings to head home. That Friday afternoon I sat in the local airport in Colorado Springs praying that the snow would stop long enough for my flight to get off the ground. It didn’t happen. I was stuck for two more days at a beautiful Embassy …
Happy Monday, ladies and gents! We here at BLI are ready to start this new week off right with a visit from Jus Accardo, author of YA paranormal romance and urban fantasy.
We’re fortunate that Jus was gracious enough to answer our barrage of questions about her writerly life and her acclaimed YA series, Denizen. Oh yeah, and some about her love of gaming and comic lore (which by itself already makes her freakin’ badass, in our book.) Please give her a warm welcome (and don’t forget to check out the end of the interview, for more giveaway goodness)!

Amanda: Jus can you please tell us a bit about yourself?
Jus: I’m a World of Warcraft addict that drinks entirely too much coffee and spends 90% of her time hanging with people who don’t exist.
Amanda: Describe a typical day of writing? Are …
Hello Book Lovers all around the world! Hope you are having a wonderful time and make up for my own crappy time while traveling just to vote at our elections. Yeah, you get it right, I’d rather spend my weekend at a beach rather than deciding who among all our crappy politicians would be the best choice.
Anyway, we’re here for another week, to highlight the releases that we crave and not do some political analysis, so let’s start doing exactly that 🙂
Marlene: Wicked Business by Janet Evanovich
Whether it’s monkey business, funny business, or getting down to business, Janet Evanovich’s Lizzy and Diesel series proves that there’s no business like Wicked Business.
Lizzy Tucker’s once normal life as a pastry chef in Salem, Massachusetts, turns upside down as she battles both sinister forces and an inconvenient attraction to her unnaturally talented but off-limits partner, Diesel.
When Harvard University English professor …

Welcome to the Saturday evening edition of the café. After a hard day of holding a garage sale I have a bit of (what should be obvious) wisdom: if you’re planning on stopping by the café patio on a hot, sunny day, make sure you have lots of sunscreen on and find a nice place to sit under an umbrella. I say this because I have been accidentally burnt to a crisp today and because I care 😉 Enough thinly veiled complaints from me though, lets move on to the book giveaway business:
Remember to let us know if you’ve won anything recently; the Book Lovers would love to hear! At Book Lovers Inc., it’s our pleasure to share the bookish love! Good luck to everyone and hope you enjoy the rest of your weekend!

Welcome to this week’s news post! We have news and updates from the world of publishing such as the news of fantasy author, Terry Goodkind self published book, Kobo’s Vox opening up to Google Play and shenanigans with name fakery.
It is no secret that self published books on the Kindle, Smashwords and other digital platforms, have brought some major successes however there have been some drawbacks like spammy scraped ebooks which Amazon have recently made some headway into clearing that up. Nonetheless, this week, the curious case of a Nora A. Roberts who claims to be the best selling self published author on the Nook, but wait up this isn’t the popular mega-selling Nora Roberts behind the Chesapeake Bay Saga and the In Death series. This is an author who has added an initial to ride on the coattails of Nora Roberts so people may get confuse and mistakenly buy …

I’ll tell you a secret: besides being the Latin Lover and a big fan of Latin culture, I’ve been fascinated by the rich history and culture of China ever since my pre-teens. For my graduation gift I asked for a 2week trip to visit the imperial cities of China from my parents and since then my interest for it has grown.
So when I heard about My Fair Concubine, a historical romance set in Ancient China (!!) which was a retelling of My Fair Lady, I couldn’t say “Yes!” fast enough! 😀 Since then I devoured My Fair Concubine and discovered a new favourite author in Jeannie Lin. (You can read my review here.) So it is my great pleasure to welcome her to Book Lovers Inc. today and tell you all about her novels and all the research and secret that goes into writing …

Today I’m really excited to welcome author Kate Evangelista to Book Lovers, a YA author, who mark my words, is bound to do great things in the future! Her debut novel, Taste, is one of the best YA novels I read this year and certainly the most impressing one. The freshness of Kate’s voice and the way she presents her stories, are indicating a great story teller, at least in my opinion 🙂
So, let’s welcome Kate and let her describe in her own words her book. And don’t forget to check at the end of the post for a giveaway of Taste!
Anna: Kate, can you please tell us a bit about yourself?
Kate: I’m a full time writer who enjoys watching TV. I believe there’s a lot to learn about writing by watching shows like The Vampire Diaries, Sons of Anarchy, White Collar, the list goes on and on. 🙂 I …
