Scarred in a childhood accident, Sophia Valentine doesn’t expect any takers on her ad for a husband in the Farmer’s Gazette, until the mysterious Lazarus Kane shows up at her door. To Sophia, he is an exciting, enigmatic stranger. But Lazarus has known Sophia for years and has come a long way to find her. Things are about to get complicated for the mischievous Miss Valentine.

Some things that Diane is all about? Awesome characters (including yummy tortured heroes), clever story concepts, and a wealth of writerly passion and inspiration. She talks to us about all of these in the interview below, even sharing some tidbits about her book Divinely Ruined (check out the synopsis and BLI review here). So stay tuned (and give Diane a warm BLI welcome)!

Last Bastion of the Living: A Futuristic Zombie Novel by Rhiannon Frater
A walled city surrounded by lush land, protected by high mountain summits, and fortified by a massive gate to secure the only pass into the valley, The Bastion remained humanity’s last hope against the fearsome undead creatures known as the Inferi Scourge. It’s finally time for our (abridged) recap of the Lover Letter Convention in Berlin ( June 2-3, 2012). We had a blast and thought we would share some pictures and experiences with you today. We although brought some goodies- not much but it’s signed so don’t forget to leave a comment.
Day 1 – The Arrival
The German View:
We (the bf, a friend et moi) started our trip in Magdeburg at 12 pm. After a 2 hour train ride we arrived in Berlin and made our trip to the hotel. With my great google maps navigation skills we only had a tiny bit of a longer trip packed with all the bags to the hotel but well I didn’t have to carry my bag. (Susi the egoistic one). We checked in and after a small break we made our way back into the city to take advantage of the movies in English. …

The problem is Rebecca’s not very angelic, and she’ll have to do more to earn her wings than end her love affair with the word f–er, frick.
Especially when she’s assigned to save single father Tony Weis, whose less-than-pure thoughts wreak hell on a telepathic angel’s nerves. It’s all Rebecca can do to keep her hands off him…but when she loses her memory injuring herself to save Tony’s daughter, now it’s …
Hello my fellow Book Lovers! How are you? We’re here for another week to highlight all those new releases that we crave even more so than chocolate. Well, not exactly, we never stop craving for some chocolate 😛 And preparing that post, along with making my TBR pile larger always makes me want to have a cupcake… I blame Susi for that. That button she made makes me hungry just by looking at it 😛
This week, there aren’t that many scheduled releases, but there are a couple really hot titles to sate our appetites. So, let’s start!
Stella: The Taken by Vicki Pettersson
He’s a fallen angel. She’s a rockabilly reporter. Together they must solve a deadly string of murders plaguing the mortal and the immortal worlds.

Hi Everyone!
So in the meantime our adventurous Geeky Lover and HEA Lover got back from Berlin and our little team is whole again so I felt it was the occasion for some Reunion LOL Cat fun 😀
The calendar is already in June, but the weather is as whimsical as in April here: rainy and windy one day, then sunny and muggy the next. Impossible to get a hang of it and to dress appropriately :-/ grr A bit scare to think that in just a few weeks school will ends, vacations will start and summer will be in full swing, and I can’t even recall where spring and the first half of 2012 went!
This week congratulations are in order to
